Real Vision Live: The Workshop
Real Vision distinguishes itself not only in its mission to transform financial media but also in its visual identity. Setting itself apart from traditional financial institutes, Real Vision adopts a visually striking approach with loud, colorful aesthetics reminiscent of 1970s punk culture. The use of vibrant colors and stencil art adds a unique and unconventional touch, contributing to the platform's distinctive and dynamic visual style.
My Role:
In my role as the Senior Graphic Designer for Real Vision's inaugural event, The Workshop, I collaborated closely with the company's founders, Damian Horner, Raoul Pal, and Grant Williams. Beyond the initial collaboration, my extensive responsibilities involved more than just developing a motif for event logos and visuals; I spearheaded the conceptualization and design efforts for a punk rock-themed aesthetic. Taking charge of the design team, I ensured that all assets were not only aligned with this theme but also created to the highest standards. Beyond graphic design, I played a pivotal role in the strategic vision, overseeing the comprehensive visual identity to ensure a cohesive and impactful representation throughout the entire campaign, contributing significantly to the success of the finance and business summit.

The punk rock style resonated with the Bowery Ballroom, a historic NYC music landmark. Our vision was to transform presenters into rock stars and provide attendees with a VIP backstage pass experience. Capturing each presenter's essence, our skilled team took photographs, enhancing the overall atmosphere. The post-event experience included an after-party featuring a live band. We strategically scouted the venue under the direction of the Creative Director, myself, and the Events Team to determine the best location for print materials, lighting, and event layout. The result was a fusion of punk aesthetics and VIP ambiance, seamlessly blending with the venue's musical heritage.
